The training program addresses radicalization, instruments for assessing risk and needs in the prison context, dynamic security and management of radical offenders in prison.

The training program addresses the contextualization of the phenomenon of radicalization (enabling a prior understanding of its terminology and similar concepts, mechanisms and risk factors that enhance the process of radicalization in prison), as well as instruments for assessing risk and needs in the prison context (with a focus on the set of RRAP tools), dynamic security and, finally, regimes used to manage radical offenders (or vulnerable to the radicalisation process) in prison.

*This course includes a chapter titled “Pathways to Radicalization” which will be updated in the coming months. The updated content will be automatically available to all current course registrants.
