Palliative care (the prevention and relief of suffering of any kind experienced by people living with life-limiting health problems) can be applied in prisons. In this short course, you will learn about palliative care, first aid in the scope of palliative care, among other topics within this theme, with the aim of raising awareness and providing skills to professionals in the prison sector towards promoting dignity, quality of life and adjustment to illness, using best available evidence.
